Increased numbers selling to an increased trade with an SQQ average of 335ppkg or an average of 332ppkg/£155 per head. Lambs sold to a top of 392ppkg for a Texel from P G Perring & Son, Hoprig Farm, Cockburspath and to £176 for K Fraser, Pitcairlie Farm, Auchtermuchty. More lambs required on a weekly basis to meet buyers’ demand. Hoggs sold to a top of 300ppkg for a Cross Hogg from Marshall Farming Partnership, Borlick and to £160 per head for a pen of Texel Hoggs from J Gilvear & Sons, Graystale, Stirling.
