MACCALLUM Christine and family express heartfelt thanks to family, friends and ex-colleagues of Eddie for their huge support and kindness since his passing. Special thanks to Rev Dorothy Wallace for her beautiful service; the organist; Vi and Frances for floral arrangemen­ts. Grateful thanks to all staff at cardiac and renal units at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the local hospital, the paramedics, and the local GP practice for their excellent care of Eddie. Thanks to David and Cindy and volunteer helpers for the lovely catering in Furnace Hall. A big thank you to Donald MacDonald, Funeral Directors, for their very profession­al and efficient arrangemen­ts throughout and to all those who attended at the crematoriu­m and church. Your presence was very comforting at such a sad time. Donations for Kidney Research amounted to £1100 on the day. Thank you.

MCALPINE - Karen and Sam would like to thank all family and friends far and wide for their love and support recently following the very sudden passing of their 'Main Man'. Tarbert village has held us in their hearts. Thanks to Stan Lupton and John Hunt for piping John through the village and a very special thank you to Reverend John McGregor for a very personal fitting service for someone that touched so many lives. ROBERTSON – Sheena and family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone for their support, cards, and flowers following the sad loss of their mother Margaret Robertson. Special thanks to the dedicated team of carers who not only looked after mum’s physical needs but kept her spirits up over the last few difficult years and to Elizabeth for her daily calls and friendship. Thanks also to the doctors and nurses at Campbeltow­n Hospital, to Father Tony for a fitting service and support, to Kenneth and Rhys Blair for their profession­al service, Southend Hall committee and Argyll Bakery. Thanks to everyone who attended the church and graveside and for contributi­ng to the retiral collection for M.S Campbeltow­n branch which raised £160. Our mum, greatly missed and always in our hearts.
