A FORMER army officer is encouraging people from in and around Ashbourne to prioritise their health, fitness and wellbeing with the launch of a boot camp fitness programme.

Mandy Foster, a fully trained fitness and boot camp instructor, is launching a series of socially-distanced programmes to help people improve their overall fitness, as well as their physical and mental wellbeing.

Mandy owns and runs Dragonfly Team Synergy (DTS) at Ednaston Park on the A52.

From there, she offers specialist personal and team development, using a blend of military command tasks and innovative business thinking to encourage participants to go ‘one step further’ in a purpose-built environment.

Now Mandy is bringing that supportive and achievement-focused approach to her new business venture, DTS Boot Camp Fitness.

The four-week boot camp programmes, offering eight to 12 sessions, cater for beginners and ladies only, as well as an early morning group and taster sessions.

Mandy said: “The outdoor sessions provide fullbody workouts that build strength and endurance through challenging and varied exercises.

“From those who want to kick start their personal fitness to those that want to compliment their existing training, the programmes are designed to suit all levels. Our sessions are progressive, whatever the level of fitness, and are designed to see improvement each week through a variety of innovative exercises combined with a great sense of group support.”
