PrEP finally gets the green light

You would be forgiven for missing this news amid all the coronavirus coverage, but after years of campaigning, the NHS has at long last agreed to fund PrEP. From April, the gamechanging treatment will be available for free, making the UK goal of ending HIV transmissions by 2030 a reality. Although it is uncertain if, or how, the coronavirus pressure will impact rollout, it’s important that all eligible people have access, and it’s not just seen as something for MSM.
