It’s virtual party time!

- # SupportQueerPerformers

LGBTQ spaces across the world have survived so much, they’re more than places to drink, and, if we’re honest, a drag queen is just as much a key worker to the queer community as Laura Kuenssberg is to the BBC. ( Side note, why isn’t there a drag queen called Laura Clungeberg?) If you’re WFH or looking for vibes, here are some of my favourite drag and DJ sessions to check out.

Queer House Party is a free, virtual nightclub live- streamed from Harry Gay’s Peckham flatshare to over 1,000 queers on Zoom. Expect house bangers, techno and pop bops, plus all the usual nightclub energy.

The Royal Vauxhall Tavern’s resident

DJ Simon La Vans is hosting live Sunday Sessions on Facebook. Simon throws down a ‘ poppers o’clock’ house party full of old- school anthems as well as some ‘ Dula Peep’, of course.

Romy & Michele’s Virtual Tea

Party on Saturday nights. You’ll feel totally edgy vibing to Belinda Carlisle deep cuts and Spice Girls B- sides.

If you’re looking for hot, hard and sweaty, BEEFMINCE is your daddy. Live from a South London flat to thirsty bears and their fans, it’s a serious mood and all of their seshes are available to watch back online.

Hold onto your wig, there’s no shortage of drag parties, either.

Jodie Harsh, Mary Mac and iconic queen Sandra from Clapham’s

Two Brewers have all been live on Facebook. Don’t forget to tip!
