USED CAR SALES HIT RECORD HIGH

UK motorists bought a record-breaking 2.1 million used cars in the first three months of this year — 70,282 more than last year’s first quarter. Demand was up 5.6% for diesel cars and 1.6% for petrols, but hybrid and electric car demand rose by 43.2%.
