FANS FLOCK TO F1 ROADSHOW AMID DOUBTS OVER SILVERSTONE’S FUTURE

-

Formula 1 cars made an appearance in London last week in the build-up to the British Grand Prix. The F1 Live event was designed to bring fans closer to the sport, and featured all ten teams and every driver on the grid except Lewis Hamilton. Also on display were heritage cars including Renault’s first F1 machine, the RS01 from 1977. The event took place amid new speculation about the future of Britain’s F1 race at Silverstone. Its owner, the British Racing Drivers’ Club, has triggered a break clause in its contract with F1 bosses to host the race, arguing its current deal is not financially viable.
