OUR ROUTE

For photographic reasons, we went out via picturesque Nancy and Baden-baden before crossing Germany to the Grossglockner High Alpine Road in Austria and on to Nitra in Slovakia. The return leg was more expedient, blatting across Austria, Germany and Belgium — and keeping clear of French police until the last moment.
