Electric SUV joins ID hatch
The Volkswagen ID Crozz, the brand’s electric SUV, will launch in 2020 alongside the car maker’s ID hatchback, VW has announced. The recently confirmed ID Buzz microbus will follow in 2022.
VW showed a near-production version of its ID Crozz at Frankfurt, following its reveal as a concept at the Shanghai motor show.
The Crozz has a power output of 302bhp from two motors and offers a range of up to 311 miles. It features electric all-wheel drive and an innovative ventilation system, which VW said means “top air quality” inside the car.
