Verdict
IF you liked the Subaru BRZ already, you’re probably going to love the small changes that have been made to the car for 2017. It’s a bit nicer to sit in and fractionally better to drive so – slightly lacklustre engine aside – it remains one of the most entertaining drivers’ cars you can buy for less than £30,000. Unfortunately, many of the old version’s drawbacks still remain, so we’d expect many buyers will continue to flock to similarly priced hot hatchbacks that are rather easier to live with.
