THE smallest SUV in the Porsche line-up has proven a massive hit, but a facelifted Macan is still on the way.

Our spies have caught the newcomer on test, and as with other Porsche models, the exterior updates will be subtle. But under the skin the revised Macan will use new direct-injection V6 petrol and diesel engines that have been developed in conjunction with Audi. These should deliver greater efficiency without sacrificing performance, and will come with a variety of outputs, depending on which Macan model they’re powering.
