Jag E-type inspires exclusive watch
IN 1963, Jaguar produced only 12 E-type Lightweight racers. But in recent years the originally planned run of 18 models has been completed. To celebrate these latest examples, Bremont has introduced a series of watches inspired by the E-type Lightweight’s styling.
The chronograph (above) features a white face with red-tipped hands, and the Jaguar Heritage logo above the six o’clock position. Its selfwinding mechanism uses what Bremont calls a “steering wheel weight”, visible through a sapphire crystal back. The £5,195 watch is available from www.bremont.com.
