Sat-nav directions from a familiar voice

VOICE navigation on sat-navs can be dull and monotonous – but navigation app Waze’s latest innovation is set to take the sting out of holiday drives.

In addition to tapping into the growing roster of celebrities available, Waze users can now record their own voice guidance for the app to use.

Head into the app’s settings, and you’ll find an option to record your own voice – or that of a friend or loved one. You will need to record the full suite of Waze’s voice commands, while any additional ones will revert to the standard voice. Waze is available for IOS and Android.
