E-class Cabriolet names its price

MERCEDES has completed the E-class family by announcing that the new Cabriolet (above) will be priced from £44,675. That buys an E 220 d diesel.

An E 300 petrol costs £45,565, while the more powerful E 400 starts at £55,715. The most expensive car in the UK range at launch is the E 350 d diesel, which costs £55,910.

AMG Line is the only specification available, and all versions of the soft-top feature a nine-speed automatic gearbox.
