MPVS not yet at end of road

HYUNDAI design boss Luc Donckerwolke reckons autonomous vehicle technology and electric powertrains could help extend the life of the small MPV – and he admitted that a successor to the ix20 (below) is in the pipeline.

Asked if the firm has an ix20 replacement on the drawing board, he said: “Yes, we do. We don’t call it the ix20 yet, but yes, it’s there.”
