CITROEN owners say they would like a better, more refined selection of powerplants from the French car maker in the future, after scoring it only 24th in the engine category.
While the company is busy coming up with new, funky models such as the C3, drivers aren’t too impressed with their looks or their fit and finish outside. With a line-up extending from small city cars such as the C1 to people carriers such as the Grand C4 Picasso, practicality ratings were always going to be a mixed bag.
Buyers say that there’s often good enough boot space, but child-friendly features and the seating versatility could be improved. Even so, Citroen owners were very happy with their cars’ running costs, and scored the brand sixth in the survey. Low fuel, tax and insurance bills were a highlight, and servicing fees weren’t seen to be too steep. Owners ranked reliability above quality, with just over a tenth saying that they’ve had some sort of issue or fault with their new Citroen.
