Show car points to next Qashqai SUV

NISSAN’S IMX concept (below), seen at the Tokyo Motor Show, is an early design preview of the next-generation Qashqai, according to design head Alfonso Albaisa.

He told us the electric SUV is a class size bigger than the Juke, and that it looks no further than three years into the future – a date coinciding with the Qashqai’s lifecycle. Albaisa also confirmed EVS “will be sold in all segments” and “the SUV shape makes packaging much easier”.
