World Rallycross adds US round

THE FIA World Rallycross championship will travel to the US for the first time next season, with a visit to the Circuit of the Americas in September. F1 and WEC races are already hosted by the Texan track.

The series released its full 2018 calendar last week, which also sees the British round in late May shift from its traditional location of Lydden Hill in Kent to a new purpose-built rallycross circuit at Silverstone, as part of the ‘Speedmachine’ motorsport festival.
