It’s all change for MX-5

-

MAZDA also presented an updated version of its fourth-generation MX-5 at the Tokyo Motor Show. Revisions to the roadster include tweaks to the suspension and steering, plus new paint choices and a red soft-top option.

The manufacturer says fine-tuning the suspension and power-steering has made the MX-5 even more agile than it was. The 1.5 and 2.0-litre engines are carried over unchanged.

New colours for 2018 include metallic red and grey shades. An Auburn leather interior and dark cherry roof can also be ordered, plus adaptive LED lights feature.

It’s not been confirmed when the tweaks will arrive on UK cars, but we can expect an on-sale date in the spring.
