Cost-cutting T-roc not worthy of its price tag

FROM: David Rogers JUST read your review of the VW T-roc (Issue 1,495), and I’m not surprised by your comments on interior quality. I looked at an SE last Saturday at a dealer roadshow. Lots of hard plastics inside and not great elsewhere – it feels like cost cutting. VW doesn’t deserve to succeed with this car, at this price.
