RECOMMENDED BOSCH’S Gigalight Plus 120 is another product from Halfords’ range and it also benefits from the chain’s current buy-one-get-one-free discount. It was a touch behind the GE bulb in all the tests, and its place here is largely down to the large, but accurately controlled, spread of light across the road. To the naked eye it looked a little less bright than the top performers, and that was reflected in the brightest spot figure being some way off the best products. But the Gigalight made up for this by finishing near the top of the pack in the 50 and 75-metre formula. As with the GE, it is made in Hungary.
