Type R Red Carbon

THE latest Civic Type R is less than nine months old, but that didn’t stop Honda displaying a new Red Carbon Kit at SEMA. The upgrades mean US buyers can spec their Type R with exclusive mirrors, a new spoiler and red interior panels, as well as a red leather gearlever and illuminated door sills. The full kit will cost $2,697 (around £2,000), but Honda has no plans to offer the tweaks in the UK. The brand’s stand also featured a visually enhanced version of the facelifted Jazz supermini.
