THE Mercedes S-class is easily the best car in this market, and it also shows up much more expensive models with its blend of sublime ride, expansive technology and luxurious interior. It’s supremely comfortable while still being good to drive. The new straight-six diesel is more powerful, smoother and quieter than the old V6, too. This new S 350 d is the cheapest LWB model, but it keeps its place at the top of the pile.
