HENNESSEY Performance revealed its crazy six-wheeled Velociraptor at SEMA. Based on the powerful Ford Raptor pick-up, the 600bhp truck (above) costs $295,000 (£225,000) and is available with an optional twinturbo upgrade for even more power.

Alongside the Velociraptor, Hennessey also unveiled its revised F5 hypercar, which it hopes will break the brand’s unofficial production car landspeed record thanks to a 1,600bhp 7.0-litre V8. Hennessey claims the F5 will do 0-186mph in under 10 seconds, and hit a 300mph-plus top speed.
