Tesla reveals prices for its electric truck

TESLA has announced ‘expected’ US pricing for its new Semi truck. The base model, with a range of 300 miles per charge, will start at $150,000 (£113,000).

A deposit of $20,000 (£15,000) is required from customers wishing to reserve the truck (below), which was unveiled earlier this month alongside the Tesla Roadster. A Semi that offers a 500-mile range will be available from an estimated $180,000. It will arrive in the UK after 2019.
