EVEN at this price, the SLC can’t hold a candle to more dynamic rivals. The cabin, while well built, is ergonomically flawed, and the new engine feels slow. Mercedes’ generous deposits on PCP deals redeem things, but a Mazda MX-5 RF is still a far better package.
