Verdict

MY local football team Montrose FC beat Edinburgh City 1-0 when I was in town, and the Edge was also a winner on the journey up the M1, M6, M74 and M80. It’s quiet and comfortable, and the Sony stereo is a fine piece of kit. But off the motorway the Ford feels cumbersome, while some noises and rattles make me question the build quality.
