Aston bounces back with record profits

-

FOLLOWING the launch of the all-new Vantage last week (Issue 1,500), Aston Martin has announced record pre-tax profits of £22million for the first nine months of 2017. That figure is in stark contrast to a £124million loss the British brand made in the same period of 2016.

Overall revenue was up 84 per cent to £567million, with strong sales of the DB11 and limited-run Vanquish Zagato contributing to this. Aston shifted 3,330 models in the first nine months of 2017, up 65 per cent, with an average transaction price of £150,000.

It’s the first time since 2008 that Aston Martin has recorded four consecutive quarters of profit.
