DRONE technology has taken off in the past year, so Renault’s superlight F1 mini drone should make someone’s Christmas. The French firm says it’s both ultra-stable and resistant to shocks, so perfect for some airborne acrobatics.

It will fly on full charge for seven minutes, and connects via Bluetooth to a free IOS or Android app, with a range of 20 metres. Its camera has a 480 x 640 pixel resolution and 32MB of flash memory, and it measures 18 x 18.5 x 8.1cm.
