Revised Citroen C1 gets tech boost
THE Citroen C1 has been updated with fresh options and tech, plus revised engines and two new special editions.
There’s new badging on the back and three new colours, alongside new bi-tone roof shades for the Airscape version. New interior trim features, too. Elsewhere, Citroen has announced C1 Urban Ride and C1 Elle variants, priced from £12,225 and £12,705 respectively.
The list of driver assistance features now includes automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, hill start assist and a reversing camera.
Citroen says Apple Carplay and Android Auto are now operational through the seven-inch touchscreen. Completing the updates is a revised three-cylinder engine. It’s the same 71bhp unit found in the Toyota Aygo, which shares the C1’s platform.
Manual and automatic cars will be offered when they go on sale in the UK on 1 May, priced from just over £9,000.
