There’s a little more room in the back of the 208, while the doors are also longer so access to the rear is easier. Both models seat five, but accommodat­ing them will prove easier in the 208.

Driving positions are flawed in both these models, which is a shame in a pairing that puts fun at the forefront of the experience. The 208 uses Peugeot’s original i-cockpit set-up, which elevates the dials above the small steering wheel. The idea is to look over the wheel at the clocks, but in reality the wheel might obscure the speedo and rev counter in a natural driving position for you.
