CHINA remains one of the most volatile but potentially lucrative car markets – and Jaguar Land Rover’s fortunes there may well depend on Coventry-born Danella Bagnall, who’s in charge of engineering its products for the country and the Asia-pacific region. Having joined Austin Rover at 16 as an apprentice, Bagnall led the Range Rover Evoque Convertible and Jaguar F-pace projects. She’s likely to be even more key as the brands tailor product to customers in the Far East.
