JON Goodman swapped from his corporate comms role at Volvo to become chief operating officer of the firm’s EV brand Polestar just in time for last year’s Brit List. The early signs from the new division have been encouraging enough for the ex-peugeot man to move eight places up the rankings. The reaction to the Polestar 1 left Goodman and CEO Thomas Ingenlath playing down expectations, for fear of an early rush of orders they couldn’t deliver. That sensible approach should prove he is comfortable with the job switch.
