Verdict

WHILE the exterior design has barely changed, the Jeep Wrangler is now easier to live with, nicer to drive and better built. But don’t go thinking it’s gone all soft; the Jeep can still call itself the king of 4x4s. If you’re prepared to sacrifice some SUV usability, it’s a characterful and charming off-roader with more convenience than it has ever had before. But be prepared to pay for the privilege – the Wrangler won’t be cheap. ★★★★★
