Expert’s verdict
from trade insider Quentin Willson
THE Nissan Note Mk2 is a practical and spacious compact car, partly thanks to its raised seating position and tall shape. As well as practicality, the Note offers affordable motoring; it’s cheap to run, and second-hand examples are within reach of most budgets. Downsides include a slight lack of interior refinement, while other cars in this market are classier.
Common faults
ELECTRICS, suspension and gearbox problems top the list of frequent repairs for the Nissan Note. Rectifying these issues can work out expensive, with bills averaging between £1,000 and £2,500.
