Latest Skoda Karoqs have the extra factor
SKODA has revealed two new versions of its Karoq crossover. The Scout offers a more rugged take on the SUV theme, while the Sportline adds racy details.
Every Karoq Scout features all-wheel drive as standard, and there’s a choice of one petrol engine and two diesels.
There’s sturdy styling inside and out: the body is bolstered with silvercoloured scuff plates on the front and rear bumpers, plus the side skirts. All cars come with 18-inch wheels, with bigger 19-inch options also available.
The cabin has unique fabric seat upholstery with black and brown contrasting seams, and all the seats are embroidered with Scout motifs. A multifunction leather steering wheel, stainless steel pedals and LED ambient lighting are all standard. Skoda’s digital instrument panel is also included as a regular feature on the new model.
Unique black 18-inch wheels mark out the Sportline model, with a bodykit similar to the one found on the Kodiaq Sportline. The body paint contrasts with a grille, roof rails and wing mirrors finished in gloss black, plus the windows are tinted. Inside there’s new upholstery, a black headlining and LED ambient lighting. The Scout’s digital dials will be optional on the Sportline.
Four engines will be offered on the Sportline, including a 187bhp 2.0-litre TSI.
Prices for both models will be announced soon.
