YOU can go big this Christmas with a top-ofthe-range 1:24-scale digital slot racing set from Carrera, which is part of a bumper pack of new releases to suit all ages.

The set is aimed at bigger kids, and its 9.3metre track boasts wide curves for drifting the two 911 RSR cars, which celebrate Porsche’s 70th anniversary. One is in the iconic Pink Pig livery, while the other pays homage to the 956. This digital set has wireless controllers that can make the cars switch lanes at the press of a button, and the power outputs for each car can be limited to help younger racers.

If your budget or living room can’t cope with this £500 monster, Carrera has also added sets to its Go!!! and First line-ups. This includes the £26.99 battery-powered First Ferrari set, which is aimed at budding racers as young as three years old. It comes with a pair of 1:50scale F40 racers and 2.4 metres of track.

Next up is the Go!!! Race to Win, which costs £49.99. This sees Sebastian Vettel’s Ferrari and Max Verstappen’s Red Bull fight it out on a 4.3-metre 1:43 mains-powered track. Finally, for Mario Kart fans, there’s the £69.99 Mach 8 set, which includes a loop and banked turn in its 5.3 metres of 1:43-scale track.

For 1:32-scale racers there are also six new cars, all at £37.99. Fans can pick from the BMW M6 and Porsche 911 RSR, Audi and Mercedes DTM racers, plus a Red Bull BMW M1 Procar and Lamborghini Huracán road car.
