Lower your Mercedes and BMW with new KW coilovers

GERMAN suspension specialist KW Automotive has just launched kits that are designed to help drivers make the most of their BMW and Mercedes cars.
There’s an option for every Mercedes A-Class model, including the current hatch and saloon body styles, and models with two or four-wheel-drive transmissions.
The firm has a range of options, including the KW Variant 3 and 1, which allow the cars to be lowered and suspension adjusted to suit driving requirements or conditions. The AMG A 35 4MATIC can be lowered by 10-30mm, the A 250 plug-in hybrid by 45-65mm and the A 180 by 30-50mm.
Meanwhile, the A 35 4MATIC can also use the Clubsport coilovers, which can be adjusted for bump and rebound, and feature an external reservoir.
Prices vary, but £2,020 will buy a Variant 3 set which can be adjusted for compression and rebound for the A 180 and
A 250 e plug-in hybrid, while a set for the AMG A 35 4MATIC will set you back £2,245.
Meanwhile, BMW M3 and M4 owners can refine the handling of their cars with three-way adjustable Variant 4 coilovers. Drivers can alter low and high-speed compression plus rebound, and the units can drop the already-lowered models by up to a further 35mm. The firm says the set-up is ideal for cars driven mostly on public roads. The kit costs £4,686, plus shipping.
IF only a sponge will do when it comes to washing your car, the latest addition to the environmentally friendly Seep range could be for you.
Its All-Purpose Dogbone Sponge is made from cellulose wood pulp, a 100 per cent renewable material, where most sponges are made from non-recyclable virgin plastic. When you’re finished with it, the sponge can be composted at home, breaking down into harmless organic waste. It can also be dropped in to your usual household rubbish.
Seep says it also requires less soap, plus can be refreshed in the washing machine or dishwasher. The sponge costs £6.50 for a twin pack.
