As a UK subscriber to Autocar who has read it for 50 years, I am surprised that you publish vitriol directed at London’s mayor from an American (Letters, 13 September). I live well north of London but the mayor was elected by a democratic process and I have read no complaints about him from UK residents in your magazine. David Edge Via email
