DRINKWATER RUNS DRY

Long-time BMW racer and driver coach David Drinkwater, competing as far afield as Australia’s legendary Bathurst circuit recently, shared 2015 Scottish Compact Cup champion Colin Gillespie’s 130i in Saturday’s Club Enduro. Running out of fuel in the final minutes, when Gillespie was on board, dropped them from as high as third in the pitstop phase to 19th. Drinkwater won both of Sunday’s 330 Challenge races to complete his weekend’s work.
