R1 Jack Goff R2 Senna Proctor R3 Tom Ingram Polewinner Goff narrowly fends off Turkington’s charging BMW in the drizzle in the opening race, while the second is a barnstorme­r: Proctor picks slick tyres on a drying track and powers through the pack late on for a dramatic victory. Ingram slices through the order for a race-three win from 11th on the grid, fending off Morgan’s Merc.

R1 Josh Cook

R2 Tom Ingram R3 Adam Morgan Cook blasts away from pole position in his Vauxhall and wins a battle with Smiley. He goes on to land his maiden BTCC win. Ingram performs another charge through the pack in race two to eclipse Smiley, while Morgan charges to racethree glory from fifth on the grid. Turkington collects only six points after electrical woe blights his charge.

Thruxton

The new Honda is super-fast in Hampshire and

Neal heads home Turkington and Cammish in the opening race. Cook keeps the pressure on with a race-two victory from ninth on the grid, again with Turkington second, while Morgan once again is the master of race three. Ingram’s charge is thwarted when an electrical problem strikes his Toyota.

Oulton Park

R1 Matt Simpson R2 Colin Turkington R3 Rob Collard Simpson blasts away from a careerfirs­t pole position to a faultless win, although his sick engine rules his Honda out for the rest of the day. Turkington nails down his only victory of the season, while things get even better for the WSR team in race three as Collard heads home Jordan and Turkington in a podium lockout.

R1 Ash Sutton R2 Ash Sutton R3 Dan Lloyd

Subaru returns to form in Yorkshire, with Sutton and

Plato landing the Levorg’s first onetwo of the season; Sutton repeats the feat in race two, while Plato is handed a drivethrou­gh penalty for an out-of-position start. Ingram cedes an early lead for second, ahead of Turkington. Lloyd breaks his BTCC duck with a triumph in the reversed-grid finale.

In a thrilling finish, Goff narrowly pips Sutton in a last-gasp dash to the line in the opening race, while Cammish lands third place. Sutton redresses the balance with victory in the second encounter, fending off Cook’s Vauxhall. The third race is a special double-points diamond event to mark 60 years of the BTCC: three-time champion Neal wins.

Rockingham

R1 Adam Morgan R2 Ash Sutton R3 Chris Smiley Morgan takes his first career pole position in the category and that sets him up to blast to an unchalleng­ed win. Sutton pounces on Chilton late on for second place. Sutton dominates race two after powering into the lead straight away. Ingram’s car is robbed of points with a throttle problem. Smiley breaks his victory duck in the final race of the weekend.

Knockhill

R1 Ash Sutton R2 Andrew Jordan R3 Tom Chilton Sutton climbs from eighth on the grid to take lead halfway through and leads home Turkington, who had earlier been involved in a collision. Sutton grabs race-two win in the wet as Ingram snatches second at the death, but both are excluded for rideheight infringeme­nts, which hands glory to Jordan. Chilton takes first

Silverston­e

R1 Sam Tordoff R2 Tom Ingram R3 Aiden Moffat Tordoff heads home a Motorbase one-two after converting his pole into an early lead from teammate Chilton, while Ricky Collard nabs a career-first podium in his WSR BMW. Shorn of success ballast, Ingram takes race two from 14th spot on the grid, while Moffat collects the silverware in race three after holding off a queue fronted by Ingram and Turkington.

Brands GP

R1 Dan Cammish R2 Dan Cammish R3 Ash Sutton

From pole, Cammish powers to two excellent victories – the second one while carrying 75kg of success ballast. He heads home Neal in race one and race two. In race two, Turkington slips off the road and finishes last, but as Ingram struggles to make to the podium, Turkington takes the crown. Sutton pips Cook for race-three glory.
