First glass service at Caledonian

-

Maureen and Reg Lowther have been basking in the warm sunshine of the past few days, enjoying the benefits of their new Caledonian Windows conservatory.

Yet, for six months, it looked as if that might never happen, as it took that long to sort out planning permission with the local council.

It was just after Christmas that the Lowthers decided a new conservatory and porch should be added to their Symington cottage.

“We got a couple of quotes,” said Maureen, “but the other one was much dearer than Caledonian, so we opted for Caledonian, and really, we’re so pleased we did!”

Maureen and Reg had a rough idea of what they were looking for, and discussed their ideas with Caledonian rep Tom Middleton.

“He was able to guide us and point us in the right direction,” said Maureen. “Things like the exact site, and all the details of windows, the roof and so on, all were discussed in detail.”

Neither the Lowthers, or Caledonian Windows, have received any explanation as to why there was a delay in the planning permission being granted, and when it finally arrived, it was delivered to the wrong house!

But there was nothing wrong with Caledonian Windows’ delivery.

“Everyone was very pleasant,” said Maureen. “The workmen were all very efficient, and we’re delighted with the outcome. We’re more than happy to recommend Caledonian Windows to anyone.”

Yet another example of Caledonian Windows’ first- class service.
