Top instructors give tips
It’s all go at the Musashi Karate Club.
The Alloway- based outfit have had two of the top instructors in the world and Martial Arts Hall of Fame inductees teaching on separate occasions.
There was also a 2nd Dan grading for one of the students plus a junior and adult grading.
The Russell Jarmesty Seminar on Reality Based Self Protection went down well.
Russell is voted the UK’s top reality- based martial arts Instructor and Hall of Fame Inductee. He taught the Musashi juniors selfprotection and then a course for adults with attendees from all over the UK.
Steven Kerr passed his 2nd Dan after a week- long grading. Steven has been training in karate for 10 years and sat the final part of his grading in front of Colin Steel 5th Dan from the British Combat Association.

Patrick is a Japanaccredited instructor ( Hanshi 9th Dan), writer and founding director of the International Ryukyu Karate Research Society.
It’s the second time Patrick has visited Ayr and after 12 hours of teaching, he left his mark. Head coach Jamie Gray presented Patrick with an engraved quaich.
The club held their junior and senior gradings with passes from Cameron Dobbie ( green belt), Heather Munro ( yellow belt), Ben Dorrian ( blue belt), Ross Brown ( blue belt), Kristian Keenan ( blue belt) and Fraser Rillie ( blue belt).
