The Troon Art Exhibition will be a stunning celebration of golf to coincide with this year’s Open Championship.
The event kicks off on Saturday, July 9, as the town’s talented artists showcase their work over the last 12 months.
The exhibition will feature many golf themed paintings as well as landscapes, seascapes and portraiture, all for sale.
From still life to abstracts, you will find something to your taste and all created by very talented local artists.
The Troon and Dundonald school’s competition for the Rita Cotter Prize, sponsored by Troon’s Round Table, will be announced on the opening day.
All selected golf- themed artworks will be on show during the Troon Art Club summer exhibition.
The 2015 Copper Palette winner, Colin Baldry, has donated a fabulous framed watercolour painting as the raffle prize. So drop by and purchase a ticket for your chance to ‘ ace’ something very special.
There will also be a collection of beautifully printed giftcards on sale, with unique art from club members.
Feast your eyes and fill your creative soul at the exhibition located at the Boys’ Brigade Hall, Troon, across from Morrison’s car park next to Troon swimming pool. All welcome, it’s free to browse. The exhibition starts on Saturday at 1pm until Saturday, July 23 ( daily from 10am to 8pm).
