Save the date, set the reminder in the diary and get ready to put your business on the map at Ayrshire Business Week 2016.
Now in its eighth year the five- day programme of events aims to support, promote and encourage business in Ayrshire.
The business roadshow visits venues across Ayrshire giving you the perfect platform to get out and sell your business to a wide audience.
This year Ayrshire Business Week visits The Park Hotel Kilmarnock, Enterkine House Hotel, Seamill Hydro and Elliots, Prestwick.
Business Gateway launch the week at Western House Hotel, Ayr on Monday, October 3 with ‘ A Head for Business’ featuring speakers Connie McLaughlin, Gary Ennis and Carol Brown. Full details available from www. bgateway. com.
Tuesday sees the ‘ Ayrshire on Show’ Exhibition at The Park Hotel, the biggest business and trade show in Ayrshire. As well as the exhibition, there will be an opportunity to take part in Ayrshire Chamber’s unique facilitated speed networking and the Modern Apprenticeship Challenge final.
Guest speaker on the Tuesday will be Josh Littlejohn of Social Bites and the Scottish Business Awards who will talk at a Developing Young Workforce Ayrshire employer engagement event.
Val Russell, Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Chief Executive, added: “Our B2B exhibition is the biggest in Ayrshire and always has a great variety on businesses on show underlining the strength of industry in the area.”
The halfway point of Ayrshire Business Week is the ‘ Women Mean Business’ event at Enterkine House Hotel with guest speaker Caroline Stuart, Digital Business Consultant, and Denise Winton, House of Colour.
On Thursday, October 6 we find out the winners in the Ayrshire Business Awards, sponsored by Munro Partnership, at Seamill Hydro. Hosted this year by TV host Jackie Brambles, the Ayrshire Business Awards continue to go from strength to strength as the winners are announced.
The week rounds off with the finale event on The Terrace at Elliots, Prestwick, to raise money for Ayrshire Hospice’s Go Purple Day. You’ll have the chance to learn the tricks of the drinks mixologist during a special cocktail masterclass and raise money for a great cause.
