And this week I had the opportunity to watch the film version of the BBC comedy classic as it hit the big screen in a truly lavish and glitzy production.
i must admit I was in total delight at the antics of Patsy and Eddy and without spoiling the story for anyone, it is a fashionista’s dream with all the wardrobe and styling from some of the best British designers, Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Mulberry and Jaeger.
And with over 60 cameos within the film there are so many well known faces you will recognise including Lulu and the filming in the South of France is stunning.
For being 70 years young Joanna Lumley is simply amazing in her role as Patsy.
Believe me this film is 90 mins of pure escapism with seniors behaving very badly indeed.
Interesting to note that he definition of fabulous is “too good too be true” and this film is a little gem, full of sparkle and glamour.
Well, after the last seven days of experimenting with my diet and following a full on vegan menu I’ve lost a couple of pounds but yep, the Versace suit is a bit looser on and I feel more energised within myself.
So much so that I am changing my black jacket for a white jacket as I am going for cooking lesson this week - I ask myself how hard can it be to swap scissors for pots and pans?
