Make a date for the boat jumble sale
Boat fans should make a date in their diaries as the West of Scotland Boat Jumble returns to Ayrshire.
For the third year in succession Irvine harbourside will be the venue for the event taking place on Sunday, October 2 from 10am.
The Scottish Maritime Museum Wharf, The Harbourside, Irvine will host the event that sees boat and sailing enthusiasts from all over the country.
If you need rope, fittings, fenders, oars, fishing gear or the choice of a thousand other bits and pieces, then Irvine Harbourside is where you will be guaranteed to find them.
And there are also stalls available for clubs and individuals to organise a stall selling surplus gear at the end of the season.
There are 5x5m pitches available for £ 30 and 5x2.5m car boot spaces for £ 20.
To book a pitch or car boot space contact William Aitken, Emoh Ruo, Ayr Road, Irvine, Ayrshire, KA11 5AB.
Entry to the boat jumble will be £ 4 with accompanying children under 16 years of age being admitted for free.
Customers of the boat jumble can also enjoy 50 per cent off the normal entry cost to the Scottish Maritime Museum Linthouse building and Shipyard Worker’s Flat on production of their Boat jumble ticket. Phone 07749 312 159 or email the team via the jumble website at www. wsbj. co. uk.
