Grant Holt lobbed wide after pouncing on a poor Meggatt headed passback before McGinn played in Boyle with a majestic pass and the striker shot under Fleming’s legs.

But the best was saved for last and with six minutes to go, Wembleybound McGinn raked in a sensational long range left foot strike after Fyvie touched a free- kick into his path.
