Hospice concert set to light up Grand Hall

-

The Ayrshire Hospice will remember those no longer with us with their Light up a Life concert next week.

The concert will light up Kilmarnock’s Grand Hall on Sunday, November 27 following the huge success of the inaugural event last year.

The evening will feature the Farmers and Farmers Wives choir, Kilmarnock Amateur Operatic Society performing songs from Les Miserables, Loudoun Academy’s jazz band and the Christmas music of the Salvation Army band.

Louise Copeland and eight- year- old son Keir have supported the hospice since husband David was diagnosed with oesophageal cancer in December 2011 before dying in January 2012.

Louise said: “We’ll be supporting the Light up a Life concert and would like to encourage everyone to get in touch and buy tickets, or make a donation for this year’s campaign.

“It’s a great time to remember a loved one and support the Ayrshire Hospice.

“I know first- hand the importance of raising funds and making people aware of this fantastic place.

“It’s nice to take a step back at Christmas to remember David and others who have died whilst at the same time supporting the Ayrshire Hospice.”
