A charity night to raise money for two worthy causes is taking place at the Kincaidston Pavilion.

An evening of Christmas shopping and bingo is to be held at the venue on Friday, December 17, with doors opening at 6pm.

A spokesman said: “Join us for a fantastic night of Christmas shopping with some fantastic craft stalls, then relax for a night of prize bingo with some superb prizes which could be used as gifts for your friends and family. A night not to be missed.”

All money raised will be divided between the Royal National Institute for the Blind, to support the blind and partially sighted, and # BUYMSH, the campaign to help buy Malcolm Sargent House.

Bingo tickets will be on sale from 6.30pm, with eyes down at 7pm. The entry cost is £ 1, with bingo books £ 7, and the raffle is £ 1.

Stalls are available to buy at £ 10, and for more information call Scott on 0750 224 134. An Ayrshire council chief has been appointed chair of one of the country’s top local government organisations.

SOL ACE Sc o t l a n d represents chief executives and senior manager within Scottish local government, promoting public sector excellence and adding its voice to the national debate.

Ms Lees said: “I am honoured to accept this appointment and look forward to playing my part in supporting and shaping the future direction of public services, with colleagues from across the country.”
